About The Position

Bunzl is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles and deliver goods to customer locations. Drivers represent the company and serve as key points of contact with customers. The role has a 3:00 a.m. start time, requires overnights, and is described as Monday through Friday. Pay is $28–$30 per hour based on experience, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Drivers perform vehicle inspections, follow applicable safety and traffic regulations, maintain required records, and ensure cargo is secured during loading and unloading. The position also involves providing customer service, maintaining the vehicle, and promptly reporting issues. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record based on the company’s fleet safety standards.
• Ability to operate and navigate a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading and unloading.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best driving practices.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests, and maintain an active medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.

Nice To Haves

• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience with GPS and routing software.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver goods safely and on time to local and long-distance customer locations.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and submit logs and paperwork on time.
• Manage cargo loading and unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report issues to management immediately.
