About The Position

Then this job is for you! Start/end daily in North Platte! No scheduled weekend routes Extremely low Medical insurance premiums Rapid wage increases the first year for solid CDL drivers $1,500 new driver sign on bonus plus quarterly bonus potential Paid, on-the-job training for those wanting to get their CDL. The North Platte Route Driver typically starts the morning picking up the packed trailer and follows the delivery route given. At each stop, there will be some building of the loads to take in to the customer which requires attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets, working with the customer on where to place their products, getting required signatures, and developing relationships with these repeat customers. The North Platte 4-day Route Driver (Tues - Fri) enjoys a 3-day weekend. The North Platte Shuttle (requires doubles) typically will haul two empty trailers from North Platte to Kearney, pick up 2 full trailers, and bring back to North Platte two times per night, but may shuttle to other locations. Requirements

Class A CDL
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
18 years old (21 for routes crossing state lines)
Current CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months
Good driving record
High school or equivalent education

Nice To Haves

Ability to obtain CDL within 3 months
Doubles endorsement (for Shuttle position)

Responsibilities

Picking up the packed trailer and following the delivery route.
Building of the loads to take in to the customer at each stop.
Reading and scanning delivery tickets.
Working with the customer on where to place their products.
Getting required signatures.
Developing relationships with repeat customers.
Hauling two empty trailers from North Platte to Kearney, picking up 2 full trailers, and bringing back to North Platte two times per night (for Shuttle position).
Shuttling to other locations (for Shuttle position).
