About The Position

H&S Enterprises, Inc., working exclusively with Cash-Wa Distributing, is seeking a Class A CDL Route Deliver Driver. Cash-Wa Distributing is one of the largest privately-owned food service distributors in the Midwest. This role involves making connections with and helping local businesses grow by delivering products on a weekday route, ensuring the driver is home every night. The position is full-time, typically 40-50 hours per week, starting early mornings (around 3:30am - 4am) from Norfolk. The company offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and quarterly bonuses. For the right candidate without a CDL, H&S Enterprises is willing to assist in obtaining their Class A CDL, including hands-on training and practice, potentially requiring a Learner's Permit before a final offer.

Requirements

Possess a Class A CDL license or be willing to obtain one with company assistance
Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
Attention to detail in reading and scanning delivery tickets

Responsibilities

Pick up the packed trailer at the start of the day
Follow the given delivery route
Build loads at each stop to take into the customer
Read and scan delivery tickets with attention to detail
Work with customers on where to place their products
Obtain required signatures for deliveries
Develop relationships with repeat customers
