About The Position

The Claims Management team is seeking an intern for summer 2027. The intern will join a team of technical analysts, Data Push developers, and another intern supporting a Claims system. The conversion team moves data from legacy systems, Snowflake, and other sources into Guidewire ClaimCenter. The backend team processes claims data into the Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Snowflake. P&C IT Services provides technology services to business units and corporate functions, including software development, data management, cloud services, IT and network security, technical support, access-rights management, equipment and software maintenance, infrastructure management, and security procedures. Its goal is to provide technology solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support the company's competitive advantage. This is a hybrid role combining in-office and remote work. Employees are expected to maintain a meaningful on-site presence, and the intern must be able to work in the office at least three days a week.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics or a related field.
Expected graduation year of 2028 or 2029.
Ability to work in the office at least three days a week.
Ability to read and decipher data models and schemas.
Ability to read and write SQL queries.
Experience with application testing.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain documentation, including user stories, process flows, and requirements.
Update integration mapping documents.
Analyze Non-Prod Sonic and Recycle errors.
Assist with data correction on Claim Payloads.
Work on ERB requests for downstream mapping.
Assist with application testing.
