About The Position

At Gallagher Bassett, Claims Adjusters help clients navigate claims, support recovery, and deliver outcomes for individuals and businesses. This role is fully remote and handles commercial auto property damage claims in any jurisdiction, with any adjuster license. The Claims Adjuster investigates, evaluates, and resolves commercial property damage claims, using claims experience and analytical skills to make informed decisions. The role involves working with clients to provide solutions and improve claims management, communicating with parties involved in claims, delivering empathetic customer service to claimants, and handling claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and applicable statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The adjuster also documents and communicates claim activity promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 3 years of related claims experience.
Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states where claims are handled.
Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Commercial auto property damage claims background.
Jurisdictional experience in any jurisdiction.
Any active adjuster license.

Responsibilities

Analyze claims exposure, determine an appropriate course of action, and resolve claims.
Interact with parties involved in the claim process to support effective communication and resolution.
Provide empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients throughout the claims process.
Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, standard methodologies, and statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Document and communicate claim activity in a timely and efficient manner.
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve commercial property damage claims.
Partner with clients to deliver solutions and improve the claims management process.
Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize activities to serve clients.
