About The Position

The Claims Adjuster-Auto PD investigates, evaluates, and resolves commercial auto property damage claims. The role applies claims management experience and analytical skills to assess exposure, determine appropriate next steps, and bring claims to resolution. The adjuster works with clients and other parties involved in the claims process, provides empathetic customer service to claimants, and handles claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and applicable statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The position is eligible for fully remote work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 3 years of related claims experience.
Appropriate licensing and/or certification in all states in which claims are handled.
Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.
Claims background in commercial auto property damage.

Responsibilities

Analyze claims exposure, plan the appropriate course of action, and resolve claims.
Interact with parties involved in the claims process to support effective communication and resolution.
Provide empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients throughout the claims process.
Handle claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, standard methodologies, and applicable statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Document and communicate claim activity in a timely and efficient manner to support claim outcomes.
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve commercial property damage claims.
Partner with clients to deliver solutions and improve the claims management process.
Think critically, solve problems, and plan and prioritize activities to serve clients effectively.
