About The Position

The Claims Adjuster handles auto subrogation claims, with some property claims, in an auto subrogation desk role. The position applies claims management experience to analyze claims exposure, plan an appropriate course of action, and resolve claims. It involves extensive interaction with parties involved in the claim process, providing empathetic customer service to claimants on behalf of clients, and handling claims in accordance with client and corporate policies, procedures, industry practices, and statutory, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The adjuster documents and communicates claim activity promptly and efficiently to support claim outcomes. Jurisdictions are open, and the role is eligible for fully remote work.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 2 years of related claims experience, including auto subrogation claims experience; some property claims experience is noted.
Background in auto subrogation.
Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.
Must be appropriately licensed and/or certified in the states where claims are handled, or able to obtain licenses or certifications according to local requirements.

Nice To Haves

Adjuster license, preferably all-lines or auto.
Bachelor's degree.
