About The Position

Schneider is seeking a Claims Adjuster in Green Bay to investigate, analyze, and resolve claims and incidents. The Claims Adjuster negotiates claims involving property, injuries, freight, workers compensation, and subrogation. The role manages claim investigations and evaluations, coordinates communication among involved parties, and works with counsel when legal actions are initiated by or against Schneider. The Claims Adjuster may represent the company at hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement meetings and is responsible for accurately documenting claims activities.

Requirements

• Associate degree or paralegal certificate.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage initial and ongoing field investigations.
• Secure all necessary information to properly evaluate claims made against Schneider.
• Act as the single point of contact for all parties involved in managing a claim.
• Review claims for negligence, liability exposure, damages, subrogation potential, fraud, and other relevant factors.
• Ensure actions and strategies are executed to provide the best overall outcome for the organization.
• Work with counsel in cases where legal actions have been initiated by or against Schneider.
• Attend hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement meetings as a corporate representative.
• Accurately document all claims activities.
