About The Position

State Farm is proactively building a pool of qualified candidates for Claim Associate openings anticipated within the next 3–6 months. Candidates may need to complete employment screenings before openings are identified and will be contacted if a matching position becomes available. Claim Associates help customers navigate the claims process while providing Remarkable® service. The role involves handling customer calls, investigating claims, applying policy coverage, and accurately documenting claim files. Candidates may be considered for multiple Claims team opportunities that align with their qualifications.

This is a hybrid position, with time spent working from home and working collaboratively in an office. During training, employees may spend a higher percentage of their time in the office. Hours of operation may change based on business needs. Employees must be able and willing to work flexible shifts and may be asked to work overtime or irregular hours. Required training, applicable proficiency and licensing exams, and background checks must be completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers in a fast-paced call center environment.
• Support customers through personalized, caring, and simple interactions during the claims process.
• Proactively investigate claims.
• Apply policy coverage.
• Accurately document claim files.
