About The Position
Collins Engineer, Inc. is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in its Rhode Island office. This internship is intended for undergraduate civil engineering students and offers experience with structural inspections. The work combines office duties with field assignments, including hands-on collaboration on bridge inspections above and underwater and other tasks alongside experienced engineers. The intern will work with licensed professional engineers and help create reports using data collected at field sites. Relocation is available.
Requirements
- Be a junior or senior working toward a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at an accredited university.
- Have a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software.
Responsibilities
