About The Position

Marshall Dennehey, P.C., an Am Law 200 civil defense firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its New York, New York office. This position is for an attorney with one to four years of civil litigation experience who desires early responsibility and meaningful exposure to complex cases. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-exposure cases for Fortune 500 clients in a collaborative and supportive environment. The practice is team-based and highly collaborative, providing significant client interaction and a clear path for professional development and practice growth. Associates will have the opportunity to take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and litigate matters from inception to resolution under the guidance of senior attorneys. The matters will be diverse and may include premises and retail liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect, and commercial auto/trucking litigation. Many cases involve catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, and fatalities, requiring strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking.

Requirements

1-4 years of civil litigation experience
