About The Position

Marshall Dennehey, P.C. is seeking Associate Attorneys for its New York City, Westchester, and Melville offices. The role is for attorneys with one to four years of civil litigation experience who want early responsibility and exposure to complex, high-exposure cases for Fortune 500 clients. Associates work in a collaborative, team-based practice with meaningful client interaction and opportunities for professional development and practice growth. Under the direction of senior attorneys, associates may take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and litigate matters from inception to resolution. Matters may involve premises and retail liability, products liability, rideshare liability, construction defect, and commercial auto or trucking litigation. Cases can include catastrophic losses, multiple claimants, and fatalities, calling for strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking. The firm provides hands-on experience, continuous feedback, individualized goal-setting, and mentorship from experienced shareholders and associates. Associates are not expected to manage cases independently from inception through trial on day one, but can develop toward full case management at their own pace. The firm describes its culture as diverse, inclusive, collaborative, and supportive, with direct access to leadership and opportunities for long-term career growth and internal advancement. The compensation range is $118,000–$150,000, negotiable based on experience and portable business.
