Church Nursery Child Care Provider

About The Position

Churches across the Asheville, North Carolina area are seeking child care providers to work in their nurseries or Children's Ministries during services, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours. Jobs are available across the Asheville area, including Asheville, Arden, Fletcher, Weaverville, Candler, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, and surrounding communities. Providers can also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families. To get started, create a profile on the SitterTree app, view available nearby jobs, pass a background check to apply and get booked, and receive payment within 24 hours after each job. Compensation is $20–$25 or more per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare or preschool provider, or early learning center teacher.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, nap times, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.

Responsibilities

Provide child care in church nurseries or Children's Ministries during services, group meetings, special events, and other occasions.
