About The Position

Churches across the Columbus, Ohio area seek child care providers to care for children in nurseries or Children’s Ministry programs during services, group meetings, special events, and other occasions. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with some Saturday and weekday opportunities. Providers choose when and where they work through the SitterTree app, with no minimum hours required. Work is available throughout the Columbus metro area, including Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, Westerville, Worthington, Grove City, Reynoldsburg, and surrounding communities. Providers may also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families. Applicants create a SitterTree profile, view nearby jobs, and must pass a background check to apply and book. Payment is issued within 24 hours after each job; most jobs pay $20–$25 or more per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience, such as babysitting, nannying, church nursery work, daycare, preschool, or teaching at an early learning center.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, nap times, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.
