About The Position

Churches across the Savannah, Georgia area are seeking child care providers to work in nurseries or Children's Ministry during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum hours required. Jobs are available throughout the Savannah area, including Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Garden City, Port Wentworth, and surrounding communities. Providers can also access babysitting and nannying jobs with families through the app. After creating a profile and passing a background check, providers can view and apply for available jobs. Payment is issued within 24 hours after each job. Most jobs pay $20–$25 or more per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, or similar.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.

Responsibilities

Provide child care in church nurseries or Children's Ministry during services, group meetings, and special events.
Provide child care for families through babysitting and nannying jobs when booked through the app.
Provide infant and toddler care, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
