About The Position

Churches across the Savannah, Georgia area are seeking child care providers for their nurseries or Children's Ministry during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available on Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers choose when and where they work, with no minimum weekly hours required. Opportunities are available across the Savannah area, including Savannah, Pooler, Richmond Hill, Garden City, Port Wentworth, and surrounding communities. The platform also provides access to babysitting and nannying jobs with families. To get started, create a profile on the SitterTree app, view available local jobs, and pass a background check to apply and book jobs. Payment is issued within 24 hours after each job. Compensation is $20–$25 or more per hour; the listed compensation range is $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare or preschool worker, or early learning center teacher, or similar experience.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
Strong understanding of child development.
Patient, kind, and nurturing.
First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric certification.
