About The Position

Churches across the Asheville, North Carolina area are seeking child care providers to work in nurseries or Children's Ministry during service times, group meetings, special events, and other occasions through the SitterTree app. Jobs are primarily available Sunday mornings, with additional opportunities on Saturdays and weekdays. Providers set their own schedules and choose when and where they work. There are no minimum weekly hours. Most jobs pay $20–$25+ per hour, and payment is made within 24 hours after each job. Opportunities are available in Asheville and surrounding communities, including Arden, Fletcher, Weaverville, Candler, Black Mountain, and Hendersonville. The app also provides access to babysitting and nannying jobs with families. To apply for jobs and get booked, applicants must create a profile and pass a background check.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check.
• Previous child care experience, such as babysitting, nannying, working in a church nursery, daycare, preschool, or early learning center.
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, naptimes, and bottle feeding.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Patient, kind, and nurturing.
• First aid and CPR certification, including pediatric certification.

Responsibilities
