About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a Childcare Teacher at its Sherrills Ford, North Carolina location. The center offers hands-on, STEAM-focused classroom learning and uses the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum. Its programs serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, including infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs. The organization’s mission is to enrich children’s lives through meaningful, innovative early learning experiences and its vision is to empower children to realize their full potential. The position pays $16–$19 per hour, determined by education and years of experience. Pay may increase with continued education, performance, and years of service. A $500 hire-on bonus is offered. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Requirements

Passion for working with young children.
Be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety and emergencies.

Nice To Haves

For lead teachers, a minimum of EDU 119, a CDA, or an associate degree is required.
