About The Position

CP, a locally run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is seeking caring Childcare Teachers for its teams in the Green Bay area. The role supports children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development in a nurturing, safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. CP provides creative freedom, training, support, and designated time during the day for lesson planning. The posting describes the position as part-time, with weekday schedule options of 7:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. It also separately lists the job type as full-time. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour.

Requirements

Have completed at least two non-credit department-approved courses in early childhood education, or be willing to complete training for those credit hours.

Responsibilities

Provide a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive approach to all children.
Plan, organize, and implement individual and group instructional activities to support children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.
Be responsible for the safety of all children in the center, particularly those in the teacher’s care.
Work cooperatively with other staff in a team environment.
Communicate with children and families and provide excellent customer service.
Use positive approaches and age-appropriate behavior redirection.
Share responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
