About The Position

Foundations Early Learning Center is hiring a Childcare Teacher at its Sherrills Ford, North Carolina location. The role supports children’s learning and development in a safe, healthy, nurturing classroom environment. Foundations uses hands-on, STEAM-focused learning and the nationally recognized Creative Curriculum. Teachers use an app to communicate and build relationships with families.

The position pays $16–$19 per hour, determined by education and years of experience. Pay may increase with continued education, performance, and years of service. A $500 hire-on bonus is offered. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Foundations serves children from six weeks to 12 years old through infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, school-age, and summer camp programs.

Requirements

• Passion for working with young children.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Lead teachers need a minimum of EDU 119, a CDA, or an associate degree.
• Previous experience working in licensed childcare.
• Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for child safety and emergencies.
