About The Position

The Childcare Teacher supports children’s safety, education, and care in a nurturing early-learning environment. The role involves creating an engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow; supporting their social and emotional development; and fostering a love of learning through the Creative Curriculum and Brain Connect programs. Teachers build strong partnerships with families through daily app updates and personal discussions. The position is at The Sunshine House school at 1950 South Centennial Ave, Aiken, SC 29803. The listed pay range is $13.00–$14.00; candidates with advanced early-childhood education and experience may qualify for higher pay within the range. Regular increases may be considered based on additional education, performance, and length of service.

Requirements

Pass required background checks and health assessments.
Be able to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
At least 18 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

At least 30 days of experience working in a licensed center is preferred.
Advanced education and experience in early childhood education may qualify candidates for higher pay within the stated range.
