About The Position

The Learning Experience is preparing to open a new early childhood education center in North Andover, Massachusetts, and seeks a Center Director to lead the school from its opening onward. The Director will help build the teaching team, welcome the first families, establish a positive school culture, and create an environment where children enjoy learning and teachers enjoy teaching. Working closely with ownership and regional leadership, the Director will prepare the center for opening and guide its continued growth. The role oversees daily operations, staffing, licensing, and educational quality. It also supports community outreach and enrollment and builds lasting relationships with families. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a stated annual salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop the initial teaching and leadership team.
Support pre-opening preparations, classroom readiness, and licensing requirements.
Establish consistent classroom routines, operating procedures, and quality standards.
Welcome prospective families, conduct tours, and support pre-opening enrollment.
Build relationships with families and community partners.
Coordinate with ownership and regional leadership on opening priorities and timelines.
Create a positive, supportive team culture from day one.
Lead the center through opening and into ongoing operations, enrollment growth, and family retention.
Oversee daily operations, staffing, licensing, and educational quality.
Help introduce the school to the community and support enrollment.
