About The Position

The Sunshine House is hiring a part-time Childcare Bus Driver at its Aiken, South Carolina location. The role involves providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and transporting them to and from school in a 14-passenger minibus. The driver also completes safety checks and drills. The listed pay range is $13.00–$14.00; candidates with advanced education or early childhood education experience may qualify for higher pay within the range, and regular increases may be considered based on education, performance, and years of service.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Clean driving record required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to pass background checks and health assessments.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for child safety and emergencies.
Passion for working with young children.

Nice To Haves

Experience transporting children in a commercial vehicle preferred.
Previous experience working in licensed childcare preferred.
