About The Position

Join Celebree School as a Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher in an entry-level role supporting lead teachers and helping protect, educate, and nurture children. You will help ensure each child’s individual needs are met while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive classroom team. The role provides hands-on experience in classroom leadership, curriculum implementation, child development, family engagement, and creating a nurturing learning environment. Team members receive training, coaching, professional development, and opportunities for career growth and advancement. The position is Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available and no nights or weekends.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
Assist and supervise children during activities, and counsel them as needed using positive, appropriate discipline techniques.
Maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment.
Maintain a positive, professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them, addressing concerns in a timely manner, providing positive feedback, and sharing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom activities.
