About The Position

The Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher is an entry-level role supporting lead teachers in providing care and education that protects, educates, and nurtures children. The aide helps ensure each child's individual needs are met while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Celebree School describes its approach as supporting the growth of both children and team members through continuous learning, development opportunities, individual growth plans, and career pathways. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, and stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
Assist and supervise children during activities, and counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
Maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
Present a positive and professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns promptly, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates about their child’s development and classroom activities.
