About The Position

The Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher supports lead teachers in providing care and education that protects, educates, and nurtures children. This entry-level role helps meet each child’s individual needs while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and safe classroom environment. Team members receive tools, resources, and training and work collaboratively, with opportunities for continuous learning, individual growth plans, and career pathways. The position is in an infant classroom. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. The franchise location is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by its franchisee.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
Assist and supervise children during activities, counseling them as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
Maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment.
Present a positive and professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns promptly, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates about their child’s development and classroom activities.
