About The Position

Join Celebree School as a Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher in an entry-level role supporting lead teachers and helping provide care and education that protects, educates, and nurtures children. You will help uphold standards of care and education while supporting each child’s individual needs. The role is part of a collaborative and inclusive team, with access to training, continued learning, development opportunities, individual growth plans, and career pathways. The position is Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. This franchise location is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with classroom management and compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
Assist and supervise children during activities, and counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
Help maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
Present a positive and professional image and follow uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns promptly, providing positive feedback, and sharing regular updates about their child’s development and classroom activities.
