About The Position

The Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher is an entry-level role supporting lead teachers in providing care and education that protects, educates, and nurtures children. The aide helps meet each child’s individual needs and contributes to a collaborative classroom team. • At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with classroom management and help ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
• Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assist and supervise children during activities, and counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Help maintain the classroom’s appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintain a positive, professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
• Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates about their child’s development and classroom activities.
