Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher
About The Position
Join Celebree as a Childcare Aide/Assistant Teacher and help fulfill the company's values to protect, educate, and nurture. In this entry-level position, you will support lead teachers in maintaining high standards of care and education while meeting each child's individual needs. You will work as part of a collaborative and inclusive team where ideas are valued and contributions are recognized. Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with classroom management and ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
- Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree's curriculum.
- Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
- Assist and supervise children during activities, and counsel them as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
- Maintain the classroom's appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Present a positive and professional image and adhere to uniform requirements.
- Communicate effectively with parents by greeting them by name, addressing concerns promptly, providing positive feedback, and sharing regular updates about their child's development and classroom happenings.
