Child Respite Provider
About The Position
Provide respite care for an adolescent male child in Hobart, Wisconsin. Care takes place in the child's home or in the community, and community outings are encouraged. The role involves supporting the child’s safety, transitions, organization, schoolwork, social skills, and communication, while spending time together in activities he enjoys. The position offers 20 hours per month, with weekday afternoons after 3:30 p.m. and weekend hours. Compensation is $14.13 per hour. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and will have sole authority to hire or dismiss the worker; Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruitment.
Requirements
- Pass a background check before hire.
- Have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a reliable vehicle for errands.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Have no allergies to dogs and cats.

Responsibilities
- Provide respite care in the child’s home or in the community.

- Spend time with the child and participate in enjoyable activities, such as caring for his cats, browsing at the mall, getting food, or riding his electric bike.
