About The Position
The Child Nutrition Assistant works in the building in the Child Nutrition Department. Duties may rotate among food preparation, cooking and serving; baking; main dish and salad preparation; dish room work; cashiering; cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment and machines; inventory; storage; and some stocking. This is a part-time position for 184 days, 4 hours per day, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The start date is as soon as possible once the posting closes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must work physically in the building.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve foods.
- Perform baking duties and work in main dish, salad, dish room, or cashier assignments as rotated.
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines.
- Perform inventory, storage, and some stocking duties.
