About The Position
The Child Nutrition Assistant works in the Child Nutrition Department and may rotate among food preparation, cooking, serving, baking, main dish, salad, dish room, and cashier duties. The position also includes cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines, as well as inventory, storage, and some stocking duties. This full-time position is 184 days per year, 8 hours per day, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. The employee must work physically in the building. The position will be temporarily assigned to Oak View Middle School, with the possibility of becoming permanent there. Start date is as soon as possible once the posting closes. Pay is $19.25 to $23.40 per hour. Insurance benefits are available for positions of 6 hours or more.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must work physically in the building.
