About The Position
The Child Nutrition Assistant works in the Child Nutrition Department for 183 days, 4 hours per day, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role may rotate among preparing, cooking, and serving food; baking; main-dish and salad preparation; dish room work; and cashier duties. It also involves cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines, as well as inventory, storage, and some stocking duties. The position must be performed in the building. The rate of pay is $18.50 to $22.60 per hour. Insurance benefits are available for positions with 6 or more hours. Start date is as soon as possible once the posting closes. Applicants must complete the Anoka-Hennepin Schools online application.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must be physically working in the building.
