About The Position
The Child Care Center Housekeeper helps maintain the organization and cleanliness of a childcare center to support a safe environment where children can learn and grow. The role includes cleaning and maintaining the building, classrooms, playground, equipment, furniture, fixtures, walls, and restrooms, as well as assisting with seasonal decorations and displays.
Requirements
- Comfortable working around children.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
- Must meet state education requirements and the center or school’s requirements.
Responsibilities
- Keep the building, classrooms, and playground clean, safe, and orderly.
- Complete janitorial tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and restrooms, and gathering and emptying trash.
- Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls.
- Clean restrooms and refill dispensers.
- Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays.
