About The Position

The Child Care Center Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and to other locations. The Driver ensures that the bus is regularly maintained and safe to drive in accordance with applicable state and municipal regulations. The role may also involve stepping into a Teacher role or assisting in other capacities as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain a safe, violation-free driving record.
• Flexibility regarding work hours and schedule.
• Experience working with children.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport children in a bus or van between educational environments, on field trips, and to and from school or other locations.
• Regularly maintain vehicle functionality and ensure the vehicle is safe to drive.
• Implement safety procedures with the school Director.
• Step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.
