About The Position

The Child Care Center Bus Driver safely transports children and staff on field trips, to and from school, and to other locations. The Driver regularly maintains the bus and ensures it is safe to drive in accordance with applicable state and municipal regulations. The role also involves implementing safety procedures with the school Director and assisting as a Teacher or in other capacities when needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Maintain a safe, violation-free driving record.
• Flexibility with work hours and schedule.
• Experience working with children.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport children by bus or van between educational environments, on field trips, and to and from school or other locations.
• Regularly maintain the vehicle and ensure it is safe to drive.
• Implement safety procedures with the school Director.
• Step into a Teacher role or assist in other capacities as needed.
