Assistant Teachers help provide daily care for children while following licensing guidelines and company standards. They maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized; develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children; communicate effectively with families; and complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
