About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time Center Director for its Delhi center. The Director works alongside teachers, children, and families to provide a supportive childcare environment and manages the overall operation of the center. The role includes staff recruitment and development, policy and procedure management, child safety, environmental health and hygiene, state licensing and regulations, staff training, administrative duties, and communication with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to supervise others.
• Ability to work independently with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years of child care or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operation of the center, including staff recruitment and development, policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health and hygiene, and state licensing.
• Ensure staff understand the objectives and expectations for each classroom.
• Manage administrative tasks, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
• Understand and enforce state regulations within the center.
• Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children.
