About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Child Care Associate Center Director at its Madisonville, Ohio center. The Associate Center Director works with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a supportive environment for children in care, ages 6 weeks to 12 years. The role helps oversee staff, classroom operations, licensing and company policy compliance, budgeting, staffing, and communication. The Associate Center Director may serve as Center Director when the Director is absent.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Demonstrated leadership qualities.
Ability to function independently using Microsoft Office products.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized.
Ability to work within regular operating hours.
Must meet state criteria for childcare employment.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of childcare or teaching experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Ensure staff understand classroom objectives and expectations.
Assist the Center Director with compliance with childcare licensing requirements and company policies.
Understand, manage, and track expenses, revenue, and goals for annual budgeting.
Substitute as Center Director when the Center Director is absent.
Serve as a resource and leader to personnel and help create and maintain a professional, motivating work environment.
Review staffing needs, scheduling, and classroom assignments.
Maintain effective communication with children, parents, and staff.
