About The Position

BrightPath Kids, formerly The Children's House and part of the Busy Bees global childcare community, is hiring a full-time Child Care Associate Center Director in Bridgetown, Ohio. The role works with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The center serves children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. The position pays $43,000–$52,000 per year.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of child care or teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks–12 years.
• Ensure staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
• Assist the Center Director with compliance with child care licensing requirements and company policies.
• Handle administrative duties within the center office.
• Substitute as Center Director when the Center Director is absent.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
• Work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide care in accordance with NAEYC guidelines.
