About The Position

VASA Fitness is seeking a Child Care Attendant (CCA) to support its KidCare program by providing safe, fun, and attentive care for children while their parents work out. The attendant helps create a clean, engaging, and well-run environment where families feel supported and confident. The role includes meaningful interactions with children, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices.

KidCare shifts are available Monday through Saturday during operating hours of 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. The base rate is $15.00 per hour. Employees may bring their children to KidCare for free while working and receive two complimentary gym memberships. Employees are also eligible to participate in 401(k) options and the Employee Assistance Program.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Ability to adapt and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, fun, and attentive care for children in the KidCare program.
• Create and maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and engaging KidCare space.
• Follow child check-in and check-out procedures to ensure children’s safety.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Follow safety procedures and comply with required background checks, safety scans, and child care standards.
• Support a positive team culture through teamwork, reliability, and communication.
• Help families feel confident, supported, and excited to return to VASA.
