About The Position

At VASA Fitness, the Child Care Attendant (CCA) supports the club's KidCare program by providing safe, fun, and attentive care for children while their parents work out. The role creates a clean, engaging, and well-run environment where families feel supported and confident. Through meaningful interactions, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices, the attendant helps create an experience families trust and return to.

Shifts are available during KidCare operating hours: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The base rate is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old to apply.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Adaptable and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, fun, and attentive care for children in the KidCare program.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming KidCare space.
• Follow check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safety.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with required background checks, safety scans, and child care standards.
• Support a positive team culture through teamwork, reliability, and communication.
• Help families feel confident and supported.
