About The Position

VASA Fitness is seeking a Child Care Attendant (CCA) to provide safe, fun, attentive care for children in the club's KidCare program while their parents work out. The attendant helps create a clean, engaging, well-run environment where families feel supported and confident. The role involves meaningful interactions with children, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices.

KidCare operating hours are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, with flexible scheduling and shifts available within those hours. The base rate is $11.40 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Ability to remain adaptable and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, attentive care for children participating in the KidCare program.
• Create a clean, engaging, and welcoming environment for children and families.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Follow check-in and check-out procedures to ensure child safety.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space.
• Maintain compliance with required background checks, safety scans, and child care standards.
• Support a positive team culture through teamwork, reliability, and communication.
• Help families feel confident, supported, and excited to return to VASA.
