About The Position

Kid Works is hiring a full-time Child Care Assistant Infant Teacher in Fairfield, Ohio. The role works side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home experience for children in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The position involves supporting classroom instruction, supervising children, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and communicating with parents or guardians. The listed pay range is $15–$18 per hour. The job does not require evening or weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
