About The Position

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in your care, according to NAEYC guidelines. The role involves helping care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in a safe, warm, clean environment that supports their growth and exploration. Paid training on classroom procedures is provided, and no classroom experience is required.

This full-time position is based at the Green, Ohio center. The role has no evenings or weekends and requires availability during regular operating hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
