About The Position

BrightPath Kids is hiring a full-time floating Assistant Teacher in Madisonville, Ohio, to work an 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. shift. The Assistant Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide a home-away-from-home environment for children in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role supports children's safety, supervision, classroom instruction, exploration, and communication with parents or guardians. The stated pay range is $14–$18 per hour. The position does not require evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms inside and outside as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that allows children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
