About The Position

Bright Horizons is hiring a Child Care Teacher to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in person at an early education/preschool child care center. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth, and collaborates with a team to develop engaging curriculum. The position is at Bright Horizons at The Prudential Center. The role includes creating hands-on activities that reflect children’s needs and interests, communicating with parents about children’s daily milestones, and maintaining a safe, clean classroom by following procedures and guidelines. The employee must comply with applicable immunization, employment physical or screening, and health and safety training requirements. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
Must demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
Must pass required state and company background checks and meet applicable state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
Must comply with applicable immunization, employment physical or screening, and health and safety training requirements.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
A CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field is preferred.
