Requirements

Leadership experience
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Bachelor's degree in physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.), or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity
Proactive, positive, solution-oriented leadership style with ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous projects with varying deadlines
Strength in employee engagement, morale, and retention

Responsibilities

Perform wet chemistry testing
HPLC, UV-Vis, CE, AA, IC
Sample receipt
Glassware washing
Use ALCOA to document test results in electronic notebooks
Support various QC labs where work is needed
Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
