Chemical Mixing Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position
The Chemical Mixing Operator works in Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit, operating machines and production equipment safely according to instructions and batch tickets. The operator sets up or adjusts equipment to manufacturing specifications and monitors output quality, identifying faulty products for discard or remanufacture. Accurate daily production records must be maintained so manufacturing performance can be analyzed. Daily cleaning of tanks, valves, hoses, machines, vessels, floors, walls, ceilings, and other areas or equipment assigned by the shift lead or supervisors is an expectation of the role. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with a $1.50 shift differential. The posted salary range is $25.00–$27.00. New hires are eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED.
- Complete any relevant manufacturing training requirements.
- Complete the operations and safety training matrix and schedule.
- Be certified in operation of PITs where applicable.
- Demonstrate a professional, team-player attitude toward work and co-workers.
- Be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
