About The Position

At Conagra Brands’ Henning, Illinois plant, the Compounding & Mixing Operator combines raw ingredients and oversees the mixing process to support safe, reliable, high-quality production of PAM cooking spray. Reporting to the Production Team Lead, this role works with a team of more than 150 associates and collaborates across departments to help maintain food safety and operational excellence.

The position operates compounding equipment, supports sanitation and preventive maintenance in the compounding department, and uses a forklift to move and stage raw ingredients. The operator follows Good Manufacturing Practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and company policies, and identifies and escalates food safety risks. The posted shift is 5:00 PM–5:15 AM, and the hourly rate is $23.49.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift operator experience.
• Willingness to work overtime to support production demand.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in a noisy environment with varying temperatures.
• Commitment to safety, sanitation, and food-handling expectations.

Responsibilities

• Combine raw ingredients according to product recipes and operate related compounding equipment.
• Oversee sanitation and preventive maintenance activities within the compounding department.
• Use a forklift to carry, stage, and transport raw ingredients.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and Conagra policies.
• Identify food safety risks and escalate issues.
